ABOUT CONSULTORDBA
Guides built from real experience on critical platforms
ConsultorDBA started as a DBA consulting practice specialized in PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Cassandra, MongoDB and Redis. The technical guides come from that same experience: procedures that are run in a lab first, documented, and then published.
Lab methodology
Every guide is built by running the full procedure on a lab environment with documented topology, operating system and engine version — it's not a summary written from official docs without ever running it.
How evidence is anonymized
Before publishing any screenshot or command output, anything that could identify a real system is removed or replaced: hostnames, private IP addresses, usernames, passwords, tokens, and client or database names.
How manuals are updated
When a guide has a published edition, relevant changes (a new engine version, a step correction, a behavior change) are documented in its version history, visible on the product page.
How this differs from generic content
Official documentation explains what a command does. A ConsultorDBA guide shows the full procedure applied to a real lab case: requirements, execution, validation, issues found and their fix, and a rollback plan when the change warrants one.
